Paris, France
We spent 5 nights in an apartment we rented in Paris, just a couple of blocks from the Louvre. It rained and was chilly, but it was still really awesome.
In front of Hotel de Ville
The gardens at the Palace of Versailles
At the Tuileries
Notre Dame at night. In the rain.
From the Trocadero

I love the reflection!
Normandy & Belgium
After Paris, we rented a car and drove through Normandy to Brugges, Belgium.
What a sweet ride!
On a canal boat in Brugges.
More canal views.
Grape vines as fence were popular in lots of places.
Yummy, yummy chocolate shops.
Zot Beer. Which apparently means "Fool".
At the 1st Infantry Division monument.
Awww. . . the puppy's asleep in the window!
Swans! With little baby swans! No ugly ducklings here!
So many horses and carriages. BIG horses.
More chocolate!
Some of the chocolate shops sold some odd stuff.
Next stop? Koln, Germany
We found a wine festival. I was a happy, happy girl.
The Cathedral
Our new friends from the winery we liked best.
At the wine festival. Yay! No beer!
Paulushof Winery. I was afraid I'd forget if I didn't take a photo. We drank a LOT of their wine. A LOT.
Heidelburg, Germany
I have some friends who live here, so we stopped in for lunch to see them and check out the castle.
